Meet the Doctors
Dr. Waggener is also a member of the Spear Study Club, a yearly residency in Restorative Dentistry. This is a study group which is mentored by Nationally Accredited Specialist with emphasis on a team approach of patient treatment and care in the specialty of Restorative Dentistry.
Being an active member of this group enables Dr. Waggener to keep abreast of the latest techniques from single tooth implant restoration to implant retained dentures that can be permanently placed just like natural teeth as well as a team approach to give you a complete and beautiful smile.
Dr. Waggener is an avid photographer and the photos seen in the office and scrolling on our website are a sampling of his photos. He is a very active member of the First Methodist Waco church and is married with two grown children.
“I am very aware of patients’ concerns, apprehensions and questions as it relates to dental treatment. I can assure you that my highly trained dental team, as well as myself, will create the best possible positive experience for you before, during, and after your continuing dental care. Our mission statement is ‘To care for our patients as if they were family members. Excellence with a caring touch.’”
When asked about what sets his practice aside, Dr. Waggener says, “our office setting is very conducive to patient care and comfort. At the same time, I’ve always strived to keep up with the latest techniques, from laser dentistry to digital radiography to sedation dentistry. My goal is to provide my patients with the most comprehensive and comfortable dental experience possible.”

Dr. Kucera has been practicing dentistry in Waco for 30 years and loves seeing generations of families growing in the office. Treating the whole family is so fun for Dr. Kucera. From children, their parents and our seniors-she wants everyone to have the best smile.
Because dentistry is ever changing, continuing education is a passion for Dr. Kucera. She is a life-long member of the Academy of General Dentistry, a fifteen year past member of the Seattle Study Club and presently for the last 5 years in the Spear Education Study Club giving her the best opportunity to problem solve cases with her peers in the community and stay up to date on all of the latest treatments and technologies for her patients.
She belongs to St. Jerome’s Catholic Church and enjoys the Sisterhood Bible Study at Harris Creek Baptist church as well. She’s been in the same book club in Waco for 20 years. Dr. Kucera believes Waco is a fantastic community, and it has shaped her into the person she is today.
Love is in the details is Dr. Kucera’s motto. She enjoys all phases of dentistry, but when asked what she likes the best she says, “I like to improve smiles, so cosmetic dentistry is my favorite. Life is too short not to smile, BIG!”
